Not what I promised

These videos are not what I promised. Mom needs Dad’s help in holding the video camera to record “which hand?” (since she only has two hands and needs them both for the trick), so that’s coming later.

I was being fussy, and so Mom decided to do a few tricks with me. Sometimes that calms me down a bit. The first video is showing off how I know the name of some of my toys. Mom tells me to go get a toy by name and I scour the room looking for it. You must understand that I have a LOT of toys (you might see them strewn around the floor in the videos…) so it takes me a while usually to figure out where each toy is. In this video, I’m getting my duck and my ball. Sometimes Mom tells me to go get Dad, and I’ll go into his office and stand next to Dad’s chair.

By the way, turn your sound down. Mom has a very annoying voice when she does tricks with me. Seriously, could she sound any more annoying? And poor me, I have to listen to it with the exceptional hearing that dogs have. Take it down a few notches Mom. Gheesh!

The next video is me patiently waiting for Mom to say it’s OK for me to have my most favorite treat EVER. That would be peanut butter. That stuff is so good, I could eat it every day. Mom says that’s bad for my figure, so I only get it once a week.

I promise that I’ll get my new trick up here soon!
