I miss my dad :(

My dad had surgery yesterday to fix his tummy so it doesn’t hurt when I bounce on it. That’ll be great when he’s all healed because there’s nothing I like better than to jump up on dad when he’s sitting on the couch. Boing, boing, boing!


Mom and Dad left me alone the longest they’ve ever left me yesterday, almost 13 hours! Sure, I wasn’t very happy with not having any company, but I was a good sport about it. I didn’t do anything bad, so Mom gave me some hotdogs and thanked me for being a good boy.


Dad went straight upstairs after they got home and I didn’t even get to let him pet my tummy! Dad always pets my tummy when he gets home. I think it’s his favorite thing to do, so I let him do it a lot!


I hear Dad walking around upstairs, and so I go to the gate to wait for him, but he never comes down. I’m kind of confused about the whole thing and so I’m making sure that Mom knows that I’m not happy about this arrangement AT.ALL.


I sure hope I get to see him soon. I miss him very much. I also miss the tickle-fights.
