What a great day

Mom and Dad took me to the park yesterday and we sure had fun. They let me go swimmin’ first:

After swimmin’ I found this really big stick. Dad said, “That’s the definition of ambition”. There are no limits to the size of stick I’l try to carry.

The definition of ambition

They decided that going swimming before playing in the dirt wasn’t such a good idea afterall:

Especially because I *dig* digging!

There was only ONE dog that whole time and she didn’t even want to play with me:

We went for another swim afterward to get me all cleaned up:

and then we headed home:

You can hear mom making fun of me because I don’t like too much wind. Pot? Meet Kettle. You ought to hear her when the wind messes up HER hair. Gheesh.

It was a great day. Mom and Dad spent two hours of quality time with me, playing at the park. I’m not sure, but I think I overheard Mom talking about going to a Puggle Meetup at the best dog park ever tomorrow. If we go there, I’ll be able to swim without my leash. Mom said that she needs to get lots of work done before she’ll decide if we can go for sure. I’ll try and help her. I’m a great co-worker!

I have more pictures from the day on my Flickr account.

Announcement!

My mama loves me and thinks I’m very, very special.

She’s right, of course.

Product reviews!

If you’ll recall, Mom promised to never clip my nails again after the bloody massacre. She had her knickers in a twist because I had two clipped nails and the rest looked like miniature talons. Her friend Jeff came to the rescue and said that she should try the PediPaw on me. Mom was a little unsure about this idea because I really hate having my feet touched (it tickles!), but decided to try it anyway.

We played high five with it while it was off and then while it was on. I really liked that game because every time I gave the pedipaw a high five, I got a treat. Little effort- big reward. Just the way I like it.

Mom was able to grind all 8 of my nails, without any bloodshed. Sure, I didn’t like her pulling at my paws, but she can be bossy and I tend to let her do what she wants when she gets that way. Seriously, she’d make a great military sergeant.

Jeff also recommended the Furminator. Mom thinks that’s the bomb diggity because I don’t shed anymore as long as she combs me a couple times a week, and I think it’s great fun to try to get the fur after she’s pulled it off the comb. We sure play fun games. Mom’s swell.

Thanks Jeff for the hat tip! I’m looking even more handsome than before. I didn’t think that was possible.

Scared straight

Mom took me to the dog pound today. OK, don’t get your knickers in a twist- she went there to get my license because she’s heard that they’re cracking down on that stuff. She didn’t have proof that I was neutered, so she brought me along so they could see for themselves. To tell you the truth, I wasn’t very happy about letting perfect strangers look at my privates.

The lady there thought I was really handsome and called some of her friends at the pound to come look at me.

In other news, the spiked collar that grandma gave me finally fits! Mom took it to a shoe repair guy and had another hole added, and had him cut and stitch up the extra bit of collar. I look pretty awesome in it, if I do say so myself.

Oh and in even MORE exciting news, I met my brother from another litter while I was at my favorite dog part. Let me explain the brother from another litter part. He was from my bio mom and dad’s first litter and I was from their last. It’s crazy how much we looked like each other! In fact, one of my friends at the park saw my brother and thought I’d grown really fast or something. Here we are together (he’s the one at the top of the picture):

And here’s a quick video. I’m the smaller one (for now!)
