Lavender stuff? Really?

While I was out going potty tonight, I noticed a really great place to dig. I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it before, but I really like digging. You could even say that I dig it (wow, I kill myself!)

So here I was, digging in the dirt, minding my own business when Mom tried to stop me. What a fun game THAT turned out to be! It was raining like crazy and she was chasing me all over the yard. Mom doesn’t put my leash on when I go potty at night because I usually don’t wander far. Being off leash gave me a huge advantage in this game.

I was a muddy mess by the time Mom caught me. I could be wrong, but Mom didn’t seem to enjoy it as much as I did.

Mom took me straight to the kitchen and put me in the sink. Now, I *love* water, so I don’t mind having a bath until she pours that stinky lavender stuff on me. I’m a DUDE! Dudes don’t smell like flowers.

I got her back this time. That lavender stuff is slippery and I got away from her, making a watery, soapy mess all over her counters. Weeeeee!!

Eventually we worked it out and Mom finished my bath. There was more fun to be had when she tried to dry me off.

The fun never ends around here.

It’s my birthday!

Wow, I’m five months old today! That went by fast, don’t you think?

I heard Mom call the vet today and ask if she could make an appointment for some kind of surgery that will keep me from having ‘crazy time’ on her arm. I don’t know what the big deal is, but she makes me get down and tells me that stuff is not appropriate.

Whateverz…

Joke’s on her though. The vet said we need to wait another month because it’s dangerous to intubate me while there’s a possibility of loose teeth. We all know that I’m teething, so Mom? You’re just going to have to deal with it.  cheese

Speaking of boy stuff, I learned a new trick! Sometimes when I go potty, I stand up against the rockery and potty like a man. Mom calls it the urinal pose, and asks me where I learned to do that. My lips are sealed.  zipper

Well the day isn’t over yet, but earlier today I had a great time in my play area. There’s nothing I like better than taking a dip in the swimmin’ pool and then dig in the dirt. Mom’s not as crazy about this hobby as I am, but she’ll have to get used to it. I love water and I love dirt. ‘nuff said.

Dirty puppy

Oh, and I’ve learned that chewing on rocks is ‘da bomb diggity. Who knew?

MMMMM….. rocks

Teething, new digs and other stuff

It’s been a big day full of adventure for me. I’m dog tired.  tongue rolleye

I’ve been teething for a while now, but Mom got proof last night and today. Check it out:

Einstein is teething…. joy!

That doesn’t mean that I can’t get in a few nibbles here and there. I can’t help it! I get to playing and then I just can’t take it anymore… I just have to play with my teeth. Mom get’s really crabby when I do that. I try telling her, “DUDE! I’m a dog!”, but that doesn’t fly with her.

Anywayz….

Dad played with me this morning in my play area and threw my plastic fish into my swimmin’ pool. I kept trying to get it and Dad laughed at me because it took a few tries for me to figure out that I can’t breathe under water and it surprised me. Finally, I figured out the whole holding my breath thing and I got that fish.

So. There.

A nice lady named Billy Jean gave us this really cool one bedroom bachelor pad. Mom and I cleaned it up, which was really fun- especially when Mom squirted me with the hose. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Einstein's new dog house!

Wow, my play area just keeps getting better and better. All I need are lounge chairs and a tiki bar, and I’ll be all set.

Man, I really hate rainy days

Mom and Dad are both here able and ready to do my bidding, but it’s raining. I know, I know…. I really like playing in the water so it makes no sense that I don’t like being outside in the rain.

Maybe I can get Mom and Dad to move to a less rainy place.

Oh well, it looks like things will be looking up starting tomorrow. They’d better take me someplace fun. Oh, and fun does NOT equal dog park. Will someone please tell them to quit taking me there? Not only are there dogs there, but there are short humans that run up to me like they’re going to attack me. Ack! That place is full of danger.

Wow, I really AM one of the cool kids!

I use Twitter now! Mom tells me that my life is WAY more exciting than her life sometimes, so why not?

We use the same computer, so I hope Mom doesn’t get on MY Twitter account and make me look sToOpiD.

Oh yeah! My business cards came today. I’m ready to rock and roll, baby!
